How you act
Every planet in your chart stands for a part of you. Here's what Mars covers, how to read it, and where to go next for your own placement.
What Mars means
Mars is your drive: how you go after things, how you get angry and how you get moving on a Monday. It's courage, sex drive and the urge to win, all in one slightly sweaty package.

In your chart
Mars's house is where you're willing to fight for what you want, and sometimes where you pick fights. Its sign shows whether you charge, plot, debate or quietly outlast.
When it visits your houses
Mars brings heat to the house it passes through: more energy, more urgency and occasionally more friction. A good time to start things there, as long as you don't start rows.
