Houses The 9th house
The 9th house in astrology
Distance
Travel, beliefs, higher learning
The 9th house is the part of you that wants more than the local view. Long trips, big questions, university, faith and philosophy all sit here, along with whatever makes life feel meaningful.
What the 9th house means
The 9th house is the big picture: long journeys, big ideas, study, faith and whatever makes life feel meaningful. It's the part of you that wants to go further, on a map or in your head.
No planets in your 9th?
An empty 9th doesn't mean you'll never travel. Look to the ruler of the sign on this house to find out what widens your world.
